Eat well, live well, and be merry!

Early Morning at Motel Mexicola, Bali

it was quite early for lunch and too late for breakfast where Naniet and I have had our brekkie at a resto nearby. So we decided to take a stroll and chill out at Motel Mexicola, which was like, 5 minutes walking from Sea Circus, the place where we had our brunch. We were the only guests, this place was just opened and one waiter seemed a bit clueless. She did not look like she can speak English, nor Indonesian… she spoke in certain accent that I could not identify, but anyway, we managed to place our order after a few frowns and “Huh? What?” Food was good though, we had quesadilla. Price was okay too, we didn’t feel ripped off. The next one hour we were just busy taking pictures of this place, leveraging from the fact that nobody was there. Very recommended place, ver hippie, artsy -kitschy kinda place-, and convenient. I reckon it must be much nicer in the afternoon… or evening. Ow, and if you thought the owner is Mexican or Latino… no it’s not. He’s Australian, just a very creative one I think πŸ˜‰

So there ya go, Motel Mexicola in the morning from my Bali trip in July πŸ™‚

Some say it with flowers, we say it with tumpeng (again 🀣). Kicking off another big project to close this year πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹ Posting this because I miss you (and our foul mouths when we're together 🀣) so much. πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ Have a good week ahead πŸ’‹#Monday I've lost count on how many coffee shops there are in SCBD-Senopati, but this recently opened one has surely caught my attention because not only they serve #coffee, they also provide Indonesian comfort food (a.k.a masakan rumahπŸ‘Œ) and snacks and they're all affordable! #hallelujah

#teppyscoffeeshoplist #weekend #coffeeshopoftheworld #coffeeshop #cafeyouneed First time making my own cup of #coffee & latte art, thanks to @muhammadaga as our "guru" at #iflixfilkop2coffeeworkshop held by @iflix.id today. I hope my little mission of no longer being just a #coffeeshop hopper, but rather someone who actually understands the whole process in coffee-making journey down to the very last detail, will slowly but surely come to realization. At least starting today. πŸ‹ Thanks so much for the great knowledge, insights, and practices you delivered today @muhammadaga, and most of all for the learning opportunity @iflix.id! Also, you guys can now stream @filkopmovie 2 on iflix. Get on itπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ #weekend #workshop La Mouette, a little Japanese #bakery at "Little Tokyo," Melawai. Very affordable, serves #coffee, and sells the best, softest, caramel #pudding (last photo). Another good thing is that they're open from 7am to 9pm! It is located right behind Melawai Plaza. They got no wi-fi yet but they have 2 tables inside with power plugs and the place is quiet, so if you want to work or have some downtime, come come! (PS. the bread's great and their coffee is not bad at all)
